Hosting your web site with Skynet

We have used Skynet as our provider for web site hosting for over 10 years and for our ADSL connection for 2 years. We have always found the staff there to be helpful and efficient. They offer reliable hosting for your web site with fast access times and sites we host with them are rarely unavailable due to server problems.

We can host your web site in our space on Skynet's servers. The fee for this is currently £45. Note that we charge a fee for moving your web site from your existing ISP - see our Prices page for more details.

Registering a domain name

We can search for a suitable domain name for you and register it on your behalf. The cost of this depends on whether you wish to register a .co.uk name or a .com one. We can then arrange for your domain to be hosted with Skynet or with your existing ISP, if you prefer.

E-mail forwarding

You may have an existing e-mail account like 'fred.bloggs211@anisp.com', but wish to have e-mail addresses under your domain name such as 'fred.bloggs@bloggswidgets.com'. We can arrange for e-mail forwarding from your domain to your mailbox. Then a simple change to the 'From' field in your e-mail client software (e.g. Outlook) will ensure that your contacts always see your domain name e-mail address.
